At the end of the year 2019, the project of renovating the Seal Centre Friedrichskoog began. It includes, among others, a new entrance building that also houses the shop. Approximately at the site of the already demolished exhibition building with the exhibition “Information Centre Harbour Seal”, a new building with a large room for seal watching on the top floor is developing. On the ground floor, there is a lot of space for a new exhibition with a cinema and seminar rooms. The outdoor areas of the visitor area are being newly designed as well.
