aufgrund des Beschlusses der Landesregierung (Landesverordnung vom 26. Februar 2021 (in Kraft ab 1. März 2021)) ist die Seehundstation Friedrichskoog ab Dienstag, den 02. März 2021, wieder für Besucher geöffnet.

Achtung: Aufgrund von Sanierungsarbeiten kann es zu Beeinträchtigungen in der Wegführung kommen. Von Dienstag bis Freitag ist zusätzlich mit Baustellengeräuschen zu rechnen.

The Seal Centre is open on all public holidays, regardless of the day of the week. Seasonal opening hours apply.

Photography and filming are permitted for private use only.
Dogs are unfortunately not allowed inside the centre.
Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire premises.
The use of scooters, bicycles, or comparable means of transport is not permitted.

Groups from 12 people and guided tours
Would you like to visit the centre with a group of 12 or more people?

We will be happy to put together a program for your visit and provide you with a group rate offer.
(The group rate is only available for registered groups.)
Feeding times
Permanent resident seals
10.30 a.m; 2 p.m. (all year around) and 5.30 p.m. (April - October)
Juveniles
11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
(outside of the main birthing seasons - between June and August as well as December and January it may happen that no juvenlies are residing at the Seal Centre, which means no juvenile feeding sessions take place).
